Tuition Fee Schedule

Our year round program is offered to children 2 through 6 years of age, including a combined Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten age class. Each class includes children within a two-year age range. Montesssori trained, qualified teachers lead classrooms equipped with Montessori materials enabling each child to progress at his own true pace with no arbitrary limitations or restrictions due to age.

ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE OF $250 PER YEAR composed of:

ANNUAL APPLICATION/REGISTRATION FEE – A non-refundable $75 application/registration processing fee must accompany each application.

ANNUAL FEE – A $175 insurance, materials and activity fee is due with registration or, at the latest, with the first tuition payment by August 15.For families enrolling their child after the beginning of the school year, the annual fee shall be prorated at $15 per month from the first day of the month in which the child is enrolled.

SIBLING DISCOUNT

We offer a 5% discount on the lower tuition for each additional child concurrently enrolled from the same family.

TUITION

Tuition is annual, beginning on August 15 of the new school year. There is no daily or weekly rate. As a convenience, tuition may be paid in twelve equal monthly installments beginning August 15, 2021 and by the 15th of each month thereafter.

For families enrolling their child after the beginning of the school year, the annual tuition shall be prorated to the end of the school year.

PAYMENTS

  • The preferred method of payment is Zelle, but payment may also be made by cash or check.
  • If the 15th falls on a weekend or holiday, tuition is due the weekday prior. Tuition payments received after the 15th will incur a $30 late charge.
  • In order to keep accounts in good standing, tuition must be received in our office no later than the 20th of each month.
  • Payments received after the 20th will incur an additional $30 late charge.
  • There is a $30 charge for any check returned by the bank, and the school will not redeposit the check.
  • If payment is not received by the last day of any month, enrollment is automatically terminated, and the student may not continue to attend.
  • Reinstatement of the enrollment, or enrollment for the following year, requires payment to bring the account current. Payments will be applied to the oldest balance first.
  • If a child is withdrawn for any reason, one month’s paid notice is required. NO REFUNDS ARE OFFERED IN THESE SITUATIONS.
  • We recognize that there may be times when we will need to close our facility in response to fire, earthquake, pandemic, etc. and may offer distance learning to replace our regular program. That will not constitute a refund for tuition owed or paid in advance. Additionally, there is no discount, refund, reimbursement or make up for a student’s absence regardless of the reason, including sickness or vacation, nor for days identified as non-operation days on the school’s calendar.

OCCASIONAL OR PARTIAL EXTENDED CHILD CARE 

For any care before 8:40 a.m. or after 3 p.m., or after 12:30 p.m. for Morning students, the charge will be $15 per hour in 1-hour minimum increments, payable in advance or when picking up your child. We do not send bills.

TOILET TRAINING 

All supplies are to be provided by the parent.

LUNCH

Children bring a healthy, waste-free sack lunch, snacks and reusable water bottle.

HOLIDAYS

The school follows the public school calendar, observing similar holidays and vacations. 

ADMISSION POLICY

Montessori School of Agoura is open to all ambulatory children regardless of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry. There is a two-week trial period for new students, during which the parents of the child or the program director decide whether the program meets the child’s needs or, if not, to dis-enroll the child.
